The bailiff's charges seem extortionate, what can I do?

· The costs of a bailiff are added onto your debt.  There is usually a set amount of money charged for each visit.

· If you think that the fees charge by bailiffs are too high you can usually apply to the County Court for a District Judge to decide if the fees you have been charged are reasonable or not.
